ABOUT ME
Diane Harrington, is a SAG-AFTRA actor, writer and producer. As a native New Yorker the stage was never far from her grasp.
Diane thinks of herself as the girl next door but is often cast as “the bitch”, “the frustrated housewife “, “bereaved mother” and “someone you wouldn’t want to cross” but she also has a laugh which is contagious and has a keen knack for comedy.
For the past few years she has spent her time writing, producing and starring in the play “For My Daughter” and the short film “Crumb Cake” which both have been nominated and won several awards. Currently, she is writing the feature version of the two projects combined and hopes to shoot it within the next year or so!
Her other film “Game Night” just won a Best Ensemble Award and can be seen at festivals now. Other feature films, Evil Insight and Forgive Me Father will hopefully be seen soon on various TV platforms.
When not working, Diane enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, theatre and taking classes. She believes that you’re never done learning and is a perpetual student, “While studying karate my grand master would always tell us to keep a beginner’s mind.”
